Lotus Educational Services is a child-centered, family-focused, mental health provider offering school-based services to children, their families, and school staff.

These services include general school counseling services, school psychological services, and services that fall under Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS).

Schools have repeatedly been demonstrated to be an ideal place to provide counseling services to students to support social, emotional, and behavioral health, as well as the ability to cope with challenges.

In 2011, California Legislature passed AB 114, repealing the state mandate that county mental health agencies provide those services to pupils qualified for special education services.

School districts are once again responsible for the provision of educationally related counseling services to pupils with IEPs that are necessary for them to receive a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment.

TLC is certified by the California Department of Education as a Non Public Agency and has Master Contracts with several County Offices of Education.

This allows us to offer these mental health services to both public and private schools anywhere in California.

TLC specializes in schools that offer Virtual Online Education, Personalized Learning, Site-based Programs, and schools offering Blended Learning Options.
